Main Pool Rules 

Object

Pick 4 teams to cover the spread. To win you must cover the spread on all 4 games.

Players MUST pick 4 teams from 4 different games, if 2 games are picked to guarantee 2 wins to sustain a lead, that person will be disqualified in that week and receive a zero.

Push is not considered covering the spread. On a push the Underdog gets the win.

If a PK ends in a tie both teams are considered as losing.

Spreads

Spreads will be displayed on this WEB page under Weekly schedule. Thursday’s Toronto Sun Roxy Line current will be used as a guide but the spreads listed on this web page will be FINAL. 

With No Lines I will attempt to get more accurate spreads from other sources. If this is not possible the game will be forfeit that week. PLEASE CHECK WEEKLY SCHEDULE

Cost And Prize Money

$10  a week per person.

Prizes will be awarded Weekly and to the top 3 winners at the end of the season.

Weekly Prize Distribution

75% of each weeks money will be awarded to the Weekly winners.

Winners must have all 4 picks right. The money will be divided among all winners each week.

If there are no winners in a week the weekly prize money will be rolled into the next weeks prize.

End of Season Prize Distribution

Total of 20% of each week, accumulated from all 18 weeks minus the $170 for The Goat Award.

1st 50% of total

2nd 30 % of total

3rd 20% of total

The winners are determined by total # of wins for all 18 weeks

If there is a tie the money is split from the top down.

The Goat Award  $170     The lowest score at the end of the year will win $170. This will be split if there is a tie. The only condition is that you MUST make picks in all 18 weeks. If a week is missed you will be disqualified from The Goat Award.

Expenses

5% of each week will go towards Web Page Expenses.

75 / 20/ 5  split may be rounded off depending on how many people play.

Example

Eg 40 people play = $400 Total prize money each week

Weekly 75% = $300 Weekly prize money

Season 20%= $80 To the end of season prize money

After 18 weeks = $1360 Total prize money minus $170  = $1190

  1. 3 way or higher Tie for first

    2. Split evenly 1st 2nd and 3rd prize ( each receive $386.67)

  2. 2 way tie for first

    3. Both players split 1st and 2nd prize (each receive $326)

    next player receives 3rd prize $238

  3. 1 for first, tie for second

    4. Top player $595

    second players split 2nd and 3rd prize (each receive $297.50)

  4. Tie for third

3rd players split 3rd prize
